Keng Chung-ming (d 1649) was a Chinese general, who fought for the Manchus. Keng Chung-ming, on 22 February 1632, defected from the Ming rulers, and opened the gates of the besieged city of T'eng Chao in Shangtung to the rebel army led by K'ung Yu-te.〔 Keng Chung-ming and K'ung Yu-te proceeded to besiege Lai-chou in March 1633, to capture P'ing-tou prefecture in April 1633, and in August laid a trap and captured several important Ming officials.〔 In October the siege of Lai-chau was relieved and on 10 October Keng fled to T'eng Chao, which was in its turn besieged, by government troops. Kung and Keng eventually escaped, buy boat, to Liao Tung in April 1633, where they took service with Hong Taiji.
